It is about time I blog about our amazing trip to Hawaii back in February. Needless to say Hawaii was everything it's name says it is:
H-heavenly, hang loose haven
A- Always 80 degrees
W-Whale Watching & Water
A- adventure after adventure
I- inspiring
I-Interesting
This blog might be kind of long but I didn't know what to leave off because everything was so amazing. I have a lot of great video footage especially of my mother-in-law doing the tarzan swing into a lagoon, Spencer diving with sharks, and my professional boogy boarding lessons to Spencer.

Surfing lessons

Hula dancing at the Culture Center

Canoe ride at the Culture Center - We loved our guide Cousin Billy. He made it for a fun day.

Spencer Boggy Boarding. I have pictures of Stan & I but I decided not to post them.

Me with the world's best mother-in-law on the beaches of Kauai

We went on a day long safari adventure in Kauai. We started of Kiayacking. What a blast.

Lots of fun hiking in the rain forest.

Here she is the most confident 75 year old you'll ever meet, attempting to leap off of a 10 foot Tarzan swing.

Spencer a little more graceful.

Wagon Ride where Jurassic Park & Raiders of the Lost Ark were filmed.

We saw peacocks & pigs.

We then stopped for lunch and to have a zipline ride across the river.

We crossed 2 swinging bridges 150 feet across and only 8 inches wide. Spencer tried to make it extra fun by making the bridge swing a little more than normal.

Stan & Spencer were da bomb when they went cliff jumping and diving off a 20 foot and a 25 foot cliff several times. I was the camera man & videographer.

This is our view from our room on Maui.

This is our view on Kauai. Even though we didn't have an ocean view it was a very beautiful garden view only minutes from the beach.

We visited a Hawaii version of the Grand Canyon on Kauai.

We made a Costco run each time we came onto a new island. Our car was filled to the brim.

One of our favorite day trips was taking a sailing Katamaran to the island of Lanai.

We had the most amazing dolphin encounter with a school of about 60 dolphin swimming right besides our boat. You could almost reach down and touch them.

While we were on the island we went on a fast pace blue water rafting boat around the island. We saw where Bill Gates got married.

We had about 3 different snorkeling excursions where we saw some incredible sea life. That is as far down as I wanted to go.

Whale Watching from our boat & hotel room was awesome.

On Maui in Lahaina there is this Banyan tree that takes up a city block. It is pretty cool to see how the branches fall down into the ground and make new trees. It is all connected. Kind of like one big eternal family.

We enjoyed many wonderful beach front restaurants with marvelous food.

Spencer was quite adventurous and got scuba dived certified before we left. He had several incredible dives. He got to touch a sea turtle and see an octopus.

He also scuba dived in a tank at the Maui Ocean Center with 23 shark, 6 sting ray, and a bearacoota(sp). That was a thrill of a lifetime. Here he is feeding the tiger ray.

We did enjoy an afternoon swimming in the Marriott's beautiful pool.

We went on this cool hike through a rain forest and at the end of it was a very cold lagoon with a waterfall. I was the first to jump in of course.

We did feel like we were "somewhere over the rainbow" and had such a wonderful time. Spencer we hope your senior trip was memorable. Everyone needs to enjoy a tropical place at some time in their life.
