Doesn't this crack you up. A month or so ago Stan and I went on a couples retreat for 3 days. I asked him to help me come up with a schedule so I could fit it all in. This is what he came up with. This is of course before I got called in Young Womens or before I became a cast member of Savior of the World. I informed him that he left off a lot of other things like; the temple, visiting teaching, music lessons, driving children to and from their extra-curricular activities, laundry, outside work, grocery shopping, writing letters to our missionary, ministering to those in need, and much much more.
Even though this schedule is unrealistic, it makes me smile of what a perfect day might have looked like.

This is one of my favorite posts ever! As I was reading down the list I was thinking, "Sure, that sounds great, but you forgot this...and this...and this...and what about this...! I was shaking my head thinking, "This is ideal, but it's not real life." And then, you said it all yourself! I laughed out loud!
Belinda, don't get down on yourself. I don't think life was meant to be that neatly wrapped up in a package, and I know you accomplish more than you think you do. Yes, your life can get crazy at times (all of our's can), but your life is really beautiful. Thanks for being my friend Belinda. The time you take out of your busy life to be a part of mine is truly appreciated! I'm going to go fry me one of those beautiful farm fresh eggs we gathered. I feel like a farm girl!
Well, I'm glad to know that you recognize how unrealistic that is. I was worried there for a second that you really planned on measuring the success of your day based on that. I also was thinking, "wow if my mom thinks she can do that all in one day, then I don't think I'll ever be able to live up to that." You need to have a little more time to sit and enjoy life, but I do have to say that although that list is unrealistic, somehow you surprisingly seem to be able to accomplish quite a bit of that list one way or another. I wish sometimes that I had your energy.
That is pretty funny that dad came up with that list though. Fresh Lemonade at the door, HAH!!!
I love it! We can dream can't we...
phew~ I am glad Stan has left a few things out, as is, I don't do half as much as you in a day. But your list gave me some things to think about. I like your priorities, they are giving me a much needed reminder. You can't help but to influence people in a positive way through your blog. That is just who you are.
