Erica tried out for the hit new movie that will be aired in Czechoslavakia for teens to learn how to speak english. Shawna called and said they needed a boy to film with her. She thought Benson would be a perfect fit. As it turned out he was a perfect fit. They started their adventure with a shopping trip to Ross to find trendy but non-logo attire. Shawna is a great shopper at Ross & T.J. Max. She knows how to find the deals that are quite fashionable.
Benson & Erica's first shoot was at a swimming pool at a home with an amazing indoor pool. Erica had to slide down the slide and say "I like swimming". Benson then said "swimming makes me hungry". Erica: "you're always hungry". The next day was at an ice cream shop with a dialogue about ice cream. Next they did a couple of scenes behind a green screen. They next day they went to the mall (pictured) where Erica had to talk about how much she liked shopping and Benson had to act like shopping is boring and he would rather be playing football.
The producer of this is hoping that this will take off (this was just a trailer to see how it will be received by the kids in Czechoslovakia). If it goes well they will be shooting 50 more scenes in the next 6 months. I guess the kids over there don't have very high standards. They need good looking teens that are clean cut with high standards for role models. You never know they could be the next "Czechoslovakian Idol". Did I mention they get paid $10 an hour and get a wardrobe reinbursement. Benson thought that was the funnest way that he's ever made $10. He had to work a lot harder mowing lawns for 10 bucks. I think they have each made about $100 so far. Aren't they both darling? Benson had a great experience and a lot of fun. His stage name is "Ben". I'm sure that Erica and Benson will be willing to give autographs to anyone that wants one.

These kids are so dang cute!!! It has been so fun to see them rehearse, and mess up - only to crack up laughing at each other!!! They've had a great experience, and it's been quite the education to see some of the "behind the scenes" stuff that go on with the making of a film!!! We won't talk about the eye liner, and lip liner - will we "Ben"?
The camera man, and the director have been amazing to work with - overall it's been AWESOME!! Way to Go Benson & Erica:)

That's awesome! Who knew that we had international movie stars in our neighborhood and one is your son!!! Let's hope they do more, great pictures too :)
