Rain is falling all around

The ward had a camp-out up at Mutual Dell.  All the bigger boys bailed on me.  The day before Stan had a procedure done at the hospital that he thought was no big deal until he got there.  He has been having poor circulation in his right arm.  He thought they were going to shoot some die into his arm and take a picture of it.  Well when he got there he had to get into one of those gowns and they ended up making an incision in a major artery in his groin.  They ran a tube up to both of his arms and shot the die.  He was in the hospital for 5 hours.  I didn't even know he was going in until he called me from the hospital and asked me to pick him up because he couldn't drive for 24 hours.
Back to the original story about camping, needless to say he didn't feel like camping the next day because he couldn't walk without limping.  Benson decided not to go because he wanted a night to relax ( did he think he couldn't relax in the tent with two excited brothers ?)  Well that left good ol' mom.  I couldn't very well tell two excited little boys that I wasn't tough enough to set up a tent and weather the storm in the mountains with the bears.  No not this mom.  I knew all those years of girls camp would pay off someday.  Well we had some fun.  Yes, we did get rained on but we stayed warm and dry in our tent.  Wendy Rapier took this picture and said "Everyone show their belly button"  Joshua wasn't shy but Jacob was repulsed by the idea (if any of you have seen Jacob's belly button you would no why).
Cute Wendy and her two girls.  There  were only three families that ended up braving the storm.  All three were women with their children.  Hey, where were all the guys?
These are our darling activity leaders Brian & Britanee Walker.  Of course Britanee didn't want to sleep overnight in a tent because she is pregnant and due in December.  They cooked dinner for all of us the night before and then came back up to cook breakfast for our three families the next morning.  They're awesome

Thanks Belinda for posting those pictures! I thought the same thing about having no guys around at night. All of you were amazing in braving out the storm and rain to stay overnight. We would've loved to......dang it, maybe next year? If that's ok, I'd like to borrow the pictures of you and your boys and wendy and her girls to post on my blog too since my camera was hiding somewhere. I'd just copy if that's ok. Let me know-thanks for everything!
