Monday, Monday

You know the song Monday, Monday so good to me?  Well we should say Monday, Monday not so good to us.  We have taken a trip to the emergency room twice on a Monday evening in the last month and a half.  They are starting to recognize me there.  The first day of school for Joshua this year which happened to be on a Monday (August 18th) we were playing hide and go seek for Family Home Evening.  He ran into my bedroom in the dark to go hide.  His eye introduced himself to the metal pot which was holding the palm tree.  Well 5 stitches later we realized maybe hide and go seek isn't as harmless as we thought.

Here we are on another Monday evening (no this was not part of the game for FHE) Benson beat Joshua's record with 7 stitches in his lip.  He was down in the weight room messing around with the exercise rubber band that you usually use with the mini tramp.  He had one end attached (or so he thought) to the weight bench and the other to the top of the bar.  He was trying to see how far it would stretch, boy did he find out.  WHACK! the plastic part of the band came face to face with his lip, once again leaving battle wounds on the Craft boys faces, reminding us of what boys are made of.

Just a note if you ever have a skin injury use Dr. Christopher's BF&C ointment it works tons better than neosporin (you can get it at a health food store).

Well, you know how things happen in three's?  We're hoping that Jacob doesn't make his way to the emergency room anytime soon, or they may turn us in.  We shall take Monday off the calendars and change FHE to a different night:)

Oh wow, that must have hurt!! So sorry! Yeah, well boys really are made of scars and bruises! We're finding that out with our little Caleb. I guess it's just part of life!

We ended up the doctors office on a Monday night too! Jonathan fell of the back of the couch and hit his head on a little excercise stepper. You know head wounds, blood everywhere! Now, whenever the boys are doing something dangerous I just remind them of Jonathan stitches and they stop, pronto! Nobody likes stitches!

Benson looks scary in that picture. Maybe the flash was a little too bright or you gave him one too many pain killers:)I hope you get feeling better soon Benson.
