We're Back We found our camera!!!

Our camping trip in reverse.  Princess loves when we throw sticks in the water for her to retrieve them.  She could do this all day if she had the stamina.  She's lost a few pounds this summer in the process.  Not bad for an old grandma.

Our camera has been lost for two months.  We always keep it hanging in the office closet.  I know I returned it after I used it but anything's possible.  Well, right before our fun camping experience Stan found it in the trunk of his car in a bag.  I think Stan needs to clean out his car more often.  We were about ready to buy a new camera.  Happy day!!!We went camping and had tons of fun.  After not blogging for awhile I forgot about the order.  These pictures our in reverse.  This picture was actually  taken the next day.  This one was way to cute to pass up but they will probably kill me for it one day.  The stream looked way to inviting and we didn't have any dry clothes to change into after so they felt comfortable enough to take a dip in their underwear.  The innocence of childhood.  The water was soooo cold but they loved the adventure.  Their legs were red and on the verge of frost bite.  But it was worth the pain.

We found this great swing that someone made from sticks and rope.  We all had a ball swinging across the alligator pit.  I wonder how they got up that high and tied it to the tree.  Thanks whoever made it.  It provided hours of fun.

Joshua's favorite part about camping was collecting all these cool sticks.  We had a pretend war using all of these weapons from nature.
We found a river and had lots of fun in the water.

We went on a fun, spontaneous camping trip with the three boys.  We went up the American Fork canyon by Tibble Fork and 4-wheeled up to the top of the mountain.  We were primitive camping if you know what I mean.  We set our tent up in the dark (we're famous for that).  Our watch dog was our brave protector from the bears that could have invaded our camp site that night.
This picture really isn't an accurate description of how it was that cold autumn night.  Jacob had to of course go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.  After a brisk wiz in the dark he jumped in  my (Belinda) sleeping bag to get warm again and that is were he slept all night long.  That was the best night sleep I've ever had.  That is why Stan is smiling so big because he didn't have a warm body to take up his space in his sleeping bag that night except for the dog at his feet.  Our boys had so much fun with all this family bonding time.
Have you ever been to that kids fun center "JUMP ON IT"? Well we didn't have to pay to amuse our children.  We re-created that experience for them right in our own tent.
Our famous white donut pose.  Camping isn't camping without white donuts.  That tradition started back on Spencer & Stan's first father and sons campout when Spencer was 3 years old.  I don't think we have ever gone camping without them since.

We weren't organized at all on this camping trip but our boys didn't seem to care.  We will always look back at this experience with fond memories.  If we wait until we are organized we might never do anything.  Cease the moment!!!

I like that advice. You probably wouldn't have had any more fun had you planned for day. Yes, cease the moment!

That looks like so much fun! It brings back all the wonderful memories! I think John and I should go camping soon before the weather is too cold. Thanks for always having wonderful memories for us to look back on after all these years! Also for the fun memories we're all creating now! I love being part of this family!
